Logically, if you are interested in the entertainment business, if Massimiliano “Max” Musina had indeed raised this amount of capital then why has nobody heard of him? Raising capital in the film business is difficult. Deals are often not what they claim to be and are even more difficult to understand.
- Better yet, call the Hollywood Reporter or Variety or any talent agency and ask anyone if they have heard of Massimiliano “Max” Musina and if they think he may have raised several hundred million dollars in capital for movies and television. They will laugh and have no idea who Massimiliano Musina is or why he would tell such a bold lie.

- No press clippings exist anywhere online referencing any Golden Globe events in China during 2016 or 2017. There was never any event called “Golden Globe Awards: China Film and Entertainment Summit” or remotely similar. Musina cites this because who would take the time to check Chinese newspapers in 2016 or 2017 to see if what Musina claims is accurate?
- Further, no records or press clippings exist anywhere to prove that Map Group or any company associated with Massimiliano Musina acquired any broadcast rights for China or any other territory for the 70th Annual Golden Globes that aired in January 2017.
- Anyone that knows Max Musina will tell you that, while he and someone he was working with found an investor to license the rights to the January 2016 Golden Globes show, Dick Clark Production voided the deal days before the show aired. This is because of disagreements caused by Massimiliano Musina’s dishonest colorful behavior and pattern of over-promising and under-delivering on those promises.

True story (allegedly)… We all know that Max was bragging about part-time banging an older actress on and off for years. This woman finally found a wealthy older man to keep her in a lavish lifestyle. At the time, Max was living out of a suitcase sleeping in the spare room of his sister’s empty home in Malibu that was on the market for sale. Max used the malibu fires story as an opportunity to pull on the heartstrings of this woman and claim that he lost everything in the fires. A gross exaggeration since Max Musina had been couch surfing various friends’ homes for years and had never rented a place of his own in LA. To help Max, this woman asked her generous older boyfriend if Max could stay at one of the empty houses he had purchased for development. Luckily, one of these luxury houses in the Hollywood hills once belonged to Brittney Spears and Max wasted no time passing it off as his own. To add further insult to injury, this kind older man became a cuck by housing not one but two of this woman’s lovers at the same time in the same house in Beverly Hills because his girlfriend manipulated him into helping her “friends” out. Max pretended to be this older man’s friend while never disclosing his history of banging the girlfriend whenever she was into it. Max was a taker, freeloading off this man by living in a luxury Hollywood hills house rent-free for over a year, never paying for meals, and pretending to advise the guy on how best to deal with his demanding, ungrateful girlfriend. Max Musina became what Kato was to OJ. A man without scruples or integrity. More ironic is that this woman was so desperate to be recognized in the movie business that Max persuaded her to tap her rich older boyfriend to give her $100,000 in expenses that she invested in Max’s shell company, Map Production Services LLC. It’s not surprising that Massimiliano Musina’s Linkedin resume and IMDb biography contain outright lies and exaggerations. Frauds like LA’s Max Musina are rarely congruent with who they say they are.
Outrageous that Max Musina is so bold he has no shame in writing such blatant lies and exaggerations in his professional online bios and resumes. Massimiliano Musina must be stupider than he looks and thinks people are even dumber.
My friend has been complaining about him for months. I’m only posting this because I think she is too embarrassed to talk about it with many people and it was really bothering her. So her goes. To paraphrase, she said something like: “I wish I knew all this before getting involved with this low life (Max Musina). I didn’t need him to get an IMDb credit, but he convinced me that I did. Now I’m stuck with him on a project I worked so hard on, and no one will touch it with a 9-foot stripper pole while Max Musina is attached. All I hear from Max are imaginary multi-milli deals he is working on that I think they are just in his imagination. Sure he seems always to be burning a mobile phone in his ear, but doing what, I wonder? My problem was that I fell for his eye flirting and thought if he could charm me, he could persuade others to fund my dream project. Max said we should come up with an elaborate backstory to try and make the deal sound more like an insider reveals all and distract from our inexperience. We even dressed it up with some names but these names are only pay to play so they are no help at all. Now it seems the more people I ask, the more negative experiences people share with me about their feelings about doing anything with Massimiliano Musina. They say, “have a drink with him, but don’t believe a word he says as he’s a flakey Hollywood dreamer”.
